​DEMOLAとは？

　DEMOLA GLOBAL社（フィンランド）が提供する産官学連携イノベーション創出プラットフォームです。世界16カ国、60以上の大学が参加している国際的な企業課題解決ネットワークであり、大学生/大学院生と企業担当者が一緒になって企業のリアルな課題解決に取り組むのが特徴です。これまでに900以上の参加企業から提供される「課題」に学生チームが取り組み、多くのアイデアが生み出されています。​北海道大学は日本で初めてDEMOLA NETWORKに参加し、2018年よりDEMOLA HOKKAIDOとしての活動を開始しています。

　課題提供企業は、学生チームの生み出したアイデアが気に入った場合には、学生チームからそのアイデアを利用するためのライセンスを受け、事業化へと繋げていきます。学生達は、課題提供企業へのライセンスを行う対価として課題提供企業から報奨金を受け取ることができます。一定の条件がそろった場合、大学/大学院の単位を得ることもできます。

北海道大学生は以下の科目で単位取得できます。

​一般教育演習(ﾌﾚｯｼｭﾏﾝｾﾐﾅｰ)：「企業がかかえる課題をみんなで解決しよう!　I・II」

*前期、後期に2単位ずつ取得可能

大学院共通科目：「企業課題解決演習I・Ⅱ」

*前期、後期に2単位ずつ取得可能

What is DEMOLA？

DEMOLA is a Finnish-born industry-government-academia collaborative innovation creation platform.

DEMOLA is an international enterprise problem solution network  with 56 universities in 15 countries participating.
College students / graduate students and corporate staff are working together to tackle corporate real problems. The student team has worked on "challenges" provided by more than 900 participating companies so far, and many ideas have been created.
If the challenge provider likes the idea created by the student team, it will receive a license from the student team to use the idea and will lead to commercialization.
Students are entitled to receive a reward from the company providing the task as a consideration for licensing to the company providing the assignment. Also, if certain conditions are met, you can earn university / graduate credits.
Hokkaido University joined DEMOLA NETWORK for the first time in Japan and has started activities as DEMOLA HOKKAIDO since 2018.
